A fitted-out food truck is a different purchase from a standard delivery vehicle. We consider the vehicle, equipment and business together when exploring potential finance options.
Compare Options for Your Purchase
Instead of approaching lenders without knowing whether they accept the asset, speak with us about what you plan to buy. We can review relevant options from our lender panel and explain the information an application may need.
Separate the Vehicle and Kitchen Costs
Ask the seller or builder for an itemised quote showing the vehicle, installed kitchen, refrigeration and other equipment. A lender may accept some items together, require separate funding or exclude particular costs. Confirm the proposed arrangement before paying a non-refundable deposit.
Plan for a New or Growing Business
A new ABN alone does not establish eligibility. Available options can depend on trading history, relevant experience, income evidence, credit profile and the purchase. Established operators can also discuss replacing a van or adding another food truck.
Understand the Complete Offer
We can explain the proposed repayments, fees, deposit and any larger final payment. Keep a separate budget for stock, staffing, insurance and other running costs; these are not automatically included in vehicle finance.
- Food trucks: purpose-built or converted vehicles with a mobile kitchen.
- Coffee vans: vehicles with installed coffee and service equipment.
- Catering trailers: towable food and beverage setups.
- Used vehicles: assess age, condition, fit-out and seller information before committing.
- Equipment: ask whether eligible kitchen items can be included or need separate finance.
These are purchases we can discuss, not a guarantee that every vehicle or fit-out can be financed. For separate machinery and appliances, explore our equipment finance service.
